Is new signing in centre forward (Danny Harrison) Mill Lanes next goal machine? With the striker only seeing around 60-70 minutes of football in the Lanes recent 3 friendlys, He is proving himself a handful for defences, his lightning pace makes him tricky to mark, and his finishing has proved decent with him netting 3 goals in around 180 minutes of football, But not only is he scoring, he's scoring against strong opposition, which proves vital. Lets hope the goals keep on flowing.
New signing Liam Moore as added more quality to the lanes defence, With the both footed defender showing quality performances in mill lanes first two friendlys, The Ex Eccleshill United Left back has already proved he will be a vital member to mill lane this season, Manager Tom Canoville stated, we needed to add strength to the defence this year, and judging by the lesser amount of goals being conceeded against stronger opposition, It proves we are moving in the right direction. A great addition!

Mill Lane FC were founded in 2004 when mill lane pub owner (Peter Brook) wanted to create a football team, We took off in the wharfedale sunday league finishing 4th in our debut season! Then we started to get to grips and built a sound foundation within the team and narrowly missing out on the top spot coming 2nd, This then changed when Mill lane won their first league title in the 2006/07 season, We then moved over to the bradford sunday alliance league starting in League (2B) were we also was triumphant winning every game besides two draws in the league, and reaching the sunday trophey final. Not such a succesful season for the mill laners last time around though only finishing 5th in the league, But as always we will bounce back stronger and are hungry for more silverware!
Where to start! (Peter) A Man who does alot of graft behind the scenes to keep us running smoothly! Peter is a 2nd father figure to all the mill lane lads! He loves Being around everyone and would 9 out 10 times do you a favour, supports his team with a different kind of passion, mill lane is very much in his blood, As for his outbursts on the sidelines and his comical celebrations thier not the best lol, Very glad he started this good footballing team in 2004, and i bet he is proud of our acheivements but like himself and all the lads, we want bigger and better! We want to thank him for all he's done!
Now Martin (& Pat) This duo works very hard to arrange friendlys. Organising the pitch & Attending meetings! Always willing the lads on, smiling and getting involved in the action. Martin has been at mill lane for 2 years now. We thank them for all they've done for the club!
